Victoria Otero

Executive Director

Victoria is the Executive Director of Villa Therese Catholic Clinic, the only true free clinic in the State of NM that provides free basic and primary medical, dental, and vision services to the uninsured and anyone in need. Victoria has a Masters in Health Administration from UNM.

Ron Aldrich

Board Chair

Ron Aldrich, MBA, LFACHE, has fifty-four years leadership and governance experience in national and regional healthcare organizations including twenty years as CEO of three multi-hospital systems and five years as a hospital CEO.

Emelda Martinez

Board Vice-Chair

Emelda Martinez, RN, BSN, has over 35 years working in the Maternal Child Health field. As a clinical RN, she worked 12 years in the hospital setting as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse. She has a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree from UNM.

Adam Archuleta


Adam Archuleta comes to the Villa Therese Catholic Clinic as a health care executive with 28 years of experience working for the Department of Health & Human Services Indian Health Service.

Dolores Shapiro

Board Member

Dolores Shapiro, Ph.D., RN, is a retired professor of nursing and anthropology whose research focused on Afro-Catholic religious groups in Brazil.  She hails from the borough of the Bronx in New York City, where she was educated by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul and the Mothers of the Order of St. Ursula.

Genevieve Tarnow

Board Member

Genevieve Tarnow has over 10 years of healthcare administration and operations experience. She currently serves as the Oncology Service Line Director for the CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, which includes oversight of the Regional Cancer Center, Clinical Trials, Palliative Care and Wound Care and Hyperbaric Programs.

Aamna Nayyar

Board Member

Nayyar holds her dental practice license with the Dental Board of California and Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. She has been serving as the Director of the Department of Dental Health at Santa Fe Community College [SFCC] since 2003. Nayyar is Co-Chair of New Mexico Oral Health Coalition [NMOHC].
